Christmas song gifts 2026, compared
For a song ordered close to Christmas, the deciding question is time. Human-made songs from Songfinch take 24 hours to 7 days, so book those in early December, while AI song services such as YourMelody, TunedForYou and Songoven say on their sites they deliver within minutes to an hour, which still works on December 23 or 24. Song of Ours says its songs are usually ready in minutes, but it promises only 24 to 48 hours. A song alone costs from $6.99 to $29.99 at the fast services, and tiers with a video go up to $39.99; a song a person writes for you starts at $179.
We run YourMelody. We've described each service, ours included, the way its own website does, and checked them all on October 31, 2026.

How to choose a song gift for Christmas
When does it have to arrive?
Start with the date. A song a person writes and records takes days: Songfinch quotes 7 days as standard, with faster dates from some artists. If you want a human singer, order by early December and leave room for changes. AI song services take minutes, so the date matters less, but leave yourself an evening to get the lyrics right.
How much do you want to spend?
A song alone costs $6.99 with us, $9 to $29.99 at the other fast services, and from $179 for a song a person writes. Videos, printed plaques and vinyl add to the price wherever they're offered: TunedForYou's higher tiers add a lyric video and go up to $39.99.
Can you hear it before you pay?
YourMelody, TunedForYou and Song of Ours let you hear part of your own song before paying. Songfinch's Instant Song lets you preview songs that fit your story. Songoven shows you the lyrics first. Songfinch doesn't say you can hear a custom song before you pay.
Do you want something to unwrap?
A song is digital everywhere on this list. If you want something under the tree, Songfinch sells physical extras in the US, such as a metal QR plaque ($49.99) or a 7-inch vinyl ($59.99), which have to ship. With a digital song, print the lyrics or a QR code and put it in a card. Our last-minute Christmas gift page has ideas.
The last-minute case
If it's December 23 or 24, a human-written song is mostly off the table: Songfinch's fastest stated delivery is 24 hours, and only from select artists. A digital song needs no shipping, so the services that deliver within minutes to an hour still work.
Can I still order a Christmas song on December 24?
Yes, with YourMelody. The questions take about three minutes, you read and edit the lyrics, and the song is usually ready within five minutes of pressing Sing. You send it as a private gift link, with the MP3s to keep. Your first song's preview is free, so you hear it before you pay. See an AI Christmas song for what the AI writes and what you change.
What's a good last-minute Christmas gift for my wife or husband?
A song about your year together, with the details only you know. Our page on a Christmas song for your wife or husband covers a first Christmas together and a partner far away.
Songs for the whole family
How do I give a song to each person in the family?
Our 5-song pack costs $24.99: one song each for Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa and someone else, each with their own name and their own memories. Each song can be in a different style and language. See family Christmas songs, or the pages for grandparents and Mom and Dad. TunedForYou also lists a three-song family bundle on its Christmas page.
Should I make one song for the whole family instead?
If you're giving it at a gathering, one song that names everyone can work well. Write one detail per person and keep the list short, so the chorus still sounds like a song. Start from our custom Christmas song page.
How we checked
On October 31, 2026 we opened each service's own pages in a browser, without signing up or buying: Songfinch store, Songfinch how it works, Songfinch Instant Song, Songfinch revisions and refunds, TunedForYou pricing, TunedForYou Christmas, Song of Ours pricing, Song of Ours facts and Songoven. Where a site didn't say something, we wrote "not stated". Where it showed two prices for the same thing, we show both.
We run YourMelody, so read this with that in mind. If something here is out of date, write to support@yourmelody.ai and we'll correct it.
