These terms cover your use of yourmelody (yourmelody.ai), where you tell us about someone you love and we make an original song for them. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you have a question, write to support@yourmelody.ai.
Your account
You sign in with your email address. Keep access to that inbox safe: anyone who can read it can sign in as you. You must be at least 18 to create an account.
What you give us
You tell us names, stories and details so we can write and sing your song. Only share what you have the right to share, and don't include anything hateful or unlawful, or anything that imitates a real artist. We may decline to make a song that breaks these rules.
Acceptable use
You may not use yourmelody to make sexual or explicit content, violence or gore, hate speech, content that puts children at risk (including any sexual content involving minors), deepfakes or impersonation of real people (including imitating real artists), or content that infringes copyright or trademarks. Our Acceptable Use Policy explains these rules in full, how we moderate requests, how to report a song, and what we do when the rules are broken. That can include removing content, refusing to make a song, suspending or closing your account, forfeiting credits used in violation, and reporting illegal content to the authorities.
To report a song, email support@yourmelody.ai with the subject "Report content".
AI models we use
Your song is made with artificial intelligence:
- Lyrics are written with Google Gemini, with Anthropic Claude as a backup if Gemini is unavailable.
- Music and vocals are made with AI Music M3, a music and vocal generation model provided by SeeAPI.
The details you share in the questionnaire are sent to these models to create your song. See our Privacy Policy for how that data is handled.
How songs are made
Lyrics and songs are generated with the AI models above, then checked and delivered by us. Every song is new, but generated music can sometimes resemble other music, and a name can occasionally be sung differently than you expect. That's why you can hear a free preview first, edit the lyrics, and get one free name fix per song.
Credits and payment
- Songs are paid for with credits, bought in one-time packs. There is no subscription.
- One credit makes one song, in two versions.
- Credits are tied to your account on this site and have no cash value.
- Prices are shown before you pay. Our payment partner processes the payment as the merchant of record and handles applicable tax.

Your song
Once you've unlocked a song, you may use it for personal purposes as set out in the License. Songs are licensed for personal use only.
Keeping your songs
We keep each song's audio for 30 days after it's made, then delete it. Download your songs to keep them.
Fair use of the service
Don't try to get around limits, abuse free previews, or interfere with the site. We may suspend accounts that do, as described in the Acceptable Use Policy.
Our responsibility
We work hard to make every song lovely, but the service is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you by email or on the site before it applies.
