When you unlock a song on yourmelody, you get a license to enjoy it for personal purposes. This page explains what that covers.

You may

• Play the song at home, at a party, a wedding, a birthday or any private event.
• Give it as a gift and send it to family and friends.
• Share it on your own personal social media accounts.
• Download it and keep copies for yourself.

You may not

• Use the song commercially, such as in ads, for a business, or in paid products.
• Sell, license or resell the song.
• Upload it to music streaming or distribution services, or claim it as your own composition.
• Use it to imitate a real artist.

Ownership

The license is personal to you and the person you made the song for. We keep the rights to the songs we make, and we may remove a song that breaks these terms.
