Privacy Policy

yourmelody makes personalized songs. To do that, we need a few details about you and the person the song is for. This page explains what we collect, why, and how to delete it. If you have questions, write to support@yourmelody.ai.

What we collect

  • Your email address, to sign you in and send you your songs.
  • What you tell us about the person: their name, how you know them, and the moments and details you choose to share.
  • The songs and lyrics we make for you.
  • Payment records: what you bought and when. Card details go straight to our payment partner; we never see or store them.
  • Basic technical data, like your IP address, to keep the site secure and stop abuse.

We don't ask for photos, and you don't need to share anything you'd rather keep private.

How we use it

We use the details you share only to write and sing your song, deliver it to you, and support you if something goes wrong. To make the song, the questionnaire text you write is sent to the AI models that create it, acting on our behalf: Google Gemini writes the lyrics, with Anthropic Claude as a backup, and AI Music M3, provided by SeeAPI, makes the music and vocals. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site. Microsoft Clarity also records how you scroll, click and move through the pages, so we can see where the site is hard to use; text you type into the questionnaire and your lyrics are masked from these recordings, as is your email address. Both receive your IP address and information about your browser and device; neither is used for advertising. Google Analytics runs in Google Consent Mode: in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland we ask first, and until you accept no analytics cookies are set, Clarity does not load, and Google Analytics only receives cookieless measurements with no identifier stored on your device. Elsewhere both are on by default. You can accept or decline at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

We also count page visits with Plausible, a cookieless analytics tool we host ourselves. It stores nothing on your device and collects no personal data, so it runs without asking.

Children

Songs are often for children. We only use a child's name and the details you give us to make the song, and you can delete this information at any time.

How long we keep it

We keep each song's audio for 30 days after it's made, then delete it automatically. We email you a reminder before a full song is deleted. Payment records are kept as long as the law requires.

Deleting your data

Open My songs and press Delete my data. After you confirm, we delete your songs, lyrics, audio and the details you shared. If a song is still being made, wait until it finishes, then try again. You can also email support@yourmelody.ai and we'll delete it for you.

Your rights

You can ask us to send you a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it. Write to support@yourmelody.ai and we'll reply within 30 days.

Changes

If we make significant changes to this policy, we'll tell you by email or on the site.
